About North Caucasian State Academy

North Caucasian State Academy (NCSA) was established in 1936 and stands as one of the oldest and most prominent medical institutions in the North Caucasus region of Russia. The academy is a Federal State institution located in Cherkessk, the administrative centre of the Karachay-Cherkess Republic, operating under the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation.

Accredited by the Russian Ministry of Education and Science in 2004, the academy was formerly known as Karachay-Cherkessia State Technological Academy (2004–2010) and North Caucasian State Humanitarian Technological Academy (2010–present).
