About College of Medical Sciences Nepal

A collaboration between The International Society for Medical Education Pvt. Ltd. (ISME) and the Ministry of Education of the Government of Nepal led to the establishment of the College of Medical Sciences of Bharatpur, Chitwan on 8th August 1993. Established under the visionary guidance of Mr. Nagendar K. Pampati, MBA (Boston, USA), CMS has become one of the top-notch private medical colleges of Nepal.

College of Medicine and Surgery (CMS) is affiliated to Kathmandu University and follows the curriculum as authorized by Nepal Medical Council. First group of MBBS students joined in 1996. CMS now teaches more than 3,000 students per year, including more than 800 MBBS students, where about 65% students come from India, in addition to having a well-equipped 1,050 bedded teaching hospital.
