About Caucasus International University

Caucasus International University has been established in 1995 in Tbilisi, having started off as a medical institute called "Clinitsist." It operates under the Legal Entity of Private Law structure, having obtained its initial license from the Ministry of Education of Georgia in 1995. The university has been accredited in 2005 and then re-accredited for several authorization cycles thereafter.

In the present day, the CIU encompasses many departments such as the Faculty of Medicine, the Faculty of Pharmacy, the Faculty of Dentistry, the Faculty of Business, the Faculty of Law, the Faculty of Social Sciences, and the Faculty of Viticulture-Winemaking and Agricultural Technology. The institution is home to over 700 foreign students who study medicine in the country, and it is equipped with laboratories, digital classrooms, the 3D Anatomage table, hospitals associated with it, and the university library, located on the campus close to central Tbilisi.
