About Caucasus International University

Caucasus International University was founded in 1995 in Tbilisi, originally established as a medical institute named "Clinitsist." Operating as a Legal Entity of Private Law, the university received its initial licence from the Ministry of Education of Georgia in the same year and went on to secure institutional accreditation in 2005, later renewing it through successive authorisation cycles.

Today, CIU unites several faculties including the Faculty of Medicine, Faculty of Pharmacy, Faculty of Dentistry, Faculty of Business, Faculty of Law, Faculty of Social Sciences, and the Faculty of Viticulture-Winemaking and Agricultural Technology.
