All About MBBS at International School of Medicine (ISM)

International School of Medicine (ISM), established in 2003 in Bishkek, the capital of Kyrgyzstan, is one of the most sought-after NMC & WHO-recognised medical universities for Indian and international students. With three campuses, affordable tuition fees, English-medium instruction, and strong clinical training through affiliated hospitals, ISM offers quality medical education at a fraction of the cost of private medical colleges in India.

About International School of Medicine (ISM)

International School of Medicine (ISM) was founded in 2003 by Dr. Anarbek Kaliyev and Dr. Marat Dzhanuzakov — both distinguished physicians in Kyrgyzstan's medical community — with a clear mission to train competent physicians for global healthcare systems while maintaining affordability. Operating as a structural sub-division of the International University of Kyrgyzstan (IUK), ISM functions under the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Science & Education of Kyrgyzstan.

ISM spans three campuses: two in Bishkek (ISM Central Campus and ISM Eastern Campus) and one in Cholpon-Ata (Issyk-Kul Regional Campus). The university hosts over 7,000 students from India, Pakistan, Nepal, Bangladesh, and several other countries, supported by 500+ faculty members including experienced Indian professors. NMC India recognition was granted in 2008, making ISM a top choice for Indian students seeking affordable MBBS abroad.
